What is raw honey?

Raw honey is honey in it's most pure and unprocessed form. Wild Hives honey is un-filtered to retain all the pollen, propolis, wax that would normally be filtered out in a large scale commercial environment. You will see these particles in the honey, they infact are a reflection of the environment and make up the flavour of natural texture from the location of the sourced honey. Honey is very sensitive to heat and when pasturised in a large scale commercial environment the beneficial enzymes of raw honey are lost. Raw honey is un-heated and retains all beneficial enzymes and flavournoides.
